What this site is

Happy Wheels Guide is an English-language reference for people playing Happy Wheels — on the Steam release, in the free browser version, or on mobile. It covers how the game works, the controls, every character, the level editor and the full achievement list.

It is an independent guide project. It is not an official wiki, and it is not run by Jim Bonacci or Fancy Force.

Editorial standard

Every published statement has to point to something checkable. The hierarchy we use is:

  1. Official sources: the Steam store page and the Steam appdetails API, official Steam announcements from Fancy Force, and the creator's own site.
  2. The community wiki, clearly labelled as community material and never used as the only source for a number.
  3. Mainstream games press, used for context and history rather than for game mechanics.

Forum posts, Reddit threads and comments are useful for finding out what players are confused about. They are never treated as proof of an answer.

What we refuse to publish

  • Character "real names" and numeric stat ratings that appear only on aggregator sites with no source.
  • Anything that implies a redemption-code system. Happy Wheels has never had one.
  • Cracked builds, key resellers or "free download" paths around the paid Steam version.
  • Unverifiable single-source figures such as player counts or play totals.

Corrections

Game updates change behaviour, so every guide shows the date it was last checked and a short version note. If a later patch has moved something, the version note tells you which build the page was written against.
